On pilgrimage in Östergötland, Sweden, July, 2011 by Circespeaks

Pilgrimage is not only a metaphor for the journey of life, but the subject of my research. Pilgrimage in Sweden is more about the journey than about the destination.

Footnote: Long ago (or not so long ago) in April, 2013, when I first started this blog, there was a photograph (the one I have now reposted) and a few words on this page. Too busy writing, I never looked back. At some unknown point, the “About” content and accompanying photo were erased. My apologies to anyone who has visited my “About” page and found…that it was about nothing! Hope that problem remains solved, but do be advised: If the numbers of visitors to your blog suddenly fall off, check your own “About” page, and see whether your content still exists.
